Fifteen years ago, on a winter walk across the frozen Helsinki shoreline, Niki Newd was born from a single conversation. Co-founder Kirsi shared a nearly 200-year-old family skin mask recipe — passed from mother to daughter for generations — with her friend, a biochemist. That moment of wonder in the Nordic wilderness became the foundation of an entirely new skincare category: fresh skincare.
