Fresh, Nutrient‑Rich Nordic Skincare As it was always meant to be.

Niki Newd’s founder Kirsi and brand ambassador Rosa, the spirits behind fresh skincare and skin longevity.

Squeeze a glass of orange juice and leave it on the shelf for three months.

Do you still expect to get the vitamin C? The same logic applies to skincare — and it is something most brands would rather you did not think about.

Fresh skincare is a different conviction. Small batches. Gourmet-grade ingredients. Nothing unnecessary, nothing hidden. Living antioxidants that reach your skin active — the foundation of real skin longevity. For all skin types — especially the most demanding ones.

The Fresh Skincare Distinction

When you remove the corporate requirement to create a shelf-stable, chemically standardized mass product, you open the door to formulation standards that are virtually unheard of in the cosmetics industry.

The Niki Newd philosophy rests on four uncompromising pillars:

Fresh skincare for dry and sensitive skin — small-batch formulas preserve living antioxidants and active nutrients

Freshness — the foundation of everything

Antioxidants are the skin's primary defence against free radicals and premature ageing — but they are fragile. Vitamin C and delicate polyphenols degrade with exposure to light, heat, and time. In most products, this process begins long before the jar reaches you. Because Niki Newd is made fresh in small batches and delivered directly, these actives arrive at your skin at their highest natural potency — not diminished by months in a warehouse.

No fillers or additives — clean formulas made for dry, sensitive and reactive skin

0% fillers or addives— 100% active ingredients

In a conventional cream, a large percentage of the jar is water, chemical texturisers, and added fragrance — there solely for shelf stability or sensory appeal, not for your skin.

Every drop of a Niki Newd formula is chosen for its specific skin benefit. No fillers. No synthetic preservatives. No added fragrance. Nothing your skin does not need.

100% natural ingredients for sensitive and ageing skin — cold-pressed botanical oils, nothing synthetic

A focus on food-grade ingredients

Food-grade, cold-pressed plant oils and Nordic botanicals — held to the same purity standards as what you eat, and typically more nutrient-dense than cosmetic-grade equivalents.

Quality at this level comes at a cost: food-grade ingredients are consistently more expensive than their cosmetic-grade counterparts. It is a choice we make deliberately, because we believe your skin deserves the same standard as what nourishes you from the inside.

Preservative-free skincare for sensitive skin — supports the skin's natural microbiome and long-term skin health

Preservative-free — in support of your microbiome

Your skin is a living ecosystem — home to millions of micro-organisms that protect, hydrate, and maintain its natural balance. We add no preservatives and no alcohol to our products. This is a deliberate choice: the best thing we can do for your microbiome is introduce as little unnecessary chemistry as possible. Instead, we bring ingredients in their most natural, freshly made form — as close to nature as skincare can be.

As Seen In

High-performance skincare   — for every skin type, including the ones most brands overlook.

Dry & dehydrated skin

Deep moisture — without fillers

Most all of our formulas are waterless — meaning every drop is active ingredient, not filler. Rich in lipids and omegas, they support the skin's moisture balance without dilution.

  • No water diluting the actives
  • Omega-rich oils support the skin's lipid barrier
  • Immediate comfort from the first use

Sensitive & reactive skin

Formulated to minimize irritation

By eliminating synthetic preservatives, emulsifiers, and artificial fragrance, we minimise the most common triggers for reactive skin — giving it the conditions to calm and reset.

  • Free from synthetics, additives and fragrance
  • Short, fully transparent ingredient lists
  • Gentle enough for daily use on reactive skin

Mature & ageing skin

Skin longevity — not just surface results

Antioxidants are your skin's primary defence against premature ageing — but only if they are still potent when they reach you. Freshness is what makes that possible. Our small-batch formulas ensure the antioxidants in every product arrive alive and active, ready to do the work they were meant to do.

  • Freshness is the prerequisite for real antioxidant defence
  • Small-batch production — never sitting in a warehouse
  • Potent from the moment it reaches your skin

Rosacea & barrier-sensitive skin

Gentle strength for compromised skin

Rosacea and barrier sensitivity need actives that soothe and strengthen. Our formulas are enriched with oat beta-glucan and Nordic berry seed oils — known for their calming, anti-inflammatory properties.

  • Oat beta-glucan — calming and barrier-supportive
  • Arctic berry seed oils — rich in anti-inflammatory omegas
  • Supports the skin's natural microbiome

Many products call themselves natural. Here is how they differ in practice.

Fresh skincare vs. conventional natural skincare

A note from Kirsi

When we started Niki Newd, I was not thinking about trends. I was thinking about my own sensitive skin and a skincare tradition passed down through my family. Freshness, gourmet-grade purity, and the absence of anything unnecessary were never a strategy — they were simply the only honest way to do this.

If you have been looking for skincare that truly nourishes — for skin that is dry, dehydrated, reactive, sensitive, or simply ready for something more honest — you have arrived at the right place.

FAQs

Questions worth asking before you invest in skincare.

Think of it the way you think about food. A varied, fresh diet nourishes the body far better than a processed, shelf-stable substitute — and the same principle applies to skincare. The most effective anti-aging ingredients are not single actives in isolation, but a broad spectrum working together: carotenoids, vitamin C and vitamin E in its full natural complexity, vitamin A precursors from berry seed oils, phytonutrients, and omega fatty acids — each contributing something the others cannot do alone.

But variety means nothing without freshness. These compounds are fragile — they degrade with exposure to light, heat, and time. A product that has spent months in a warehouse has already lost the very properties that were supposed to make it work. At Niki Newd, every formula is made in small batches and delivered fresh, so the full spectrum of nutrients arrives at your skin active. That is the only way anti-aging skincare can genuinely perform.

Yes — and for sensitive and rosacea-prone skin in particular, the absence of common irritants makes a meaningful difference. By removing synthetic preservatives, emulsifiers, and added fragrance from every formula, Niki Newd minimizes the triggers that reactive skin responds to most. Sensitive and rosacea-prone skin has always been at the heart of what we do — not an afterthought. Many of our customers have come to us after years of struggling with reactive skin, and the relief they describe is one of the things we are most proud of.

Start with what is not in it. Avoid serums that list water as the first ingredient — it dilutes actives and typically requires preservatives to remain stable. Synthetic emulsifiers, alcohols, and added fragrance are among the most common irritants for reactive skin, and they appear in far more products than most people realize. The best serums for sensitive skin are oil-based, preservative-free, and built from gourmet botanical ingredients that retain their natural colour. Niki Newd Oil Serums follows exactly this approach — a concentrated, waterless formula with no additives, suitable for the face, the eye area, and even the most reactive skin.

Because every ingredient is active and nothing is there to fill space, you need remarkably little. Over the years we have found that most people use around 15g of Niki Newd cream per month — morning and evening combined. That is genuinely very little. But in our case, a little is a lot.

Warm a small amount between your palms and apply to freshly cleansed skin. In the morning, skip the water rinse to preserve the skin's natural moisture balance. In the evening, cleanse gently and apply your treatment. Once or twice a month, a fresh mask deepens the nourishment. We would not dare estimate how many products from a conventional range it would take to deliver the same breadth of nutrients to the skin — or how many jars you would need to fill your cabinet. With Niki Newd, you do not. Small is enough — because small, here, is genuinely concentrated.

Truly waterless skincare — where every ingredient is active and no preservatives are needed — remains rare. Most brands that use the term still rely on water as their base ingredient. Almost all Niki Newd products are waterless by design. The two exceptions exist for a specific reason: to deliver vitamin C in its most effective and bioavailable form — ascorbic acid — which requires water as a solvent to function properly at the skin level. Every formulation decision has a reason behind it. Nothing is there by accident.
