Our Oatmeal Soap recipe, perfected nearly two decades ago, remains unchanged — and for a reason. From the beginning, our goal was clear: to create a cleanser that purifies gently, without irritation or dryness. We chose soap for its simplicity, availability, and natural lathering ability — and the result has exceeded all expectations.

This little bar has brought comfort to those with dry skin and confidence to even the most sensitive.

Beta-glucan soothes, hydrates, and protects the skin. It supports regeneration, boosts collagen-producing cells, and helps prevent signs of aging by shielding the skin from UV damage and irritation.

Bioactive peptides from the yeast deliver broad skin benefits: they neutralize free radicals, calm inflammation, protect collagen, accelerate wound repair, and help maintain a balanced skin microbiome. The result is smoother, firmer, and more radiant-looking skin.

Phenolic compounds act as antioxidants that fight infections, soothe UV-induced redness, promote healing, and help prevent signs of aging.

Vitamin E  protects skin from UV and pollution damage, supports the skin barrier, boosts microcirculation, soothes inflammation, and helps prevent hyperpigmentation.

Amino acids help to improve all skin
types, reduce the signs of ageing.

Omega-3 fatty acids possess conditioning and softening qualities. Studies indicate that Omega-3 fatty acids protect the skin from damages caused by photoaging. Alpha-linolenic acid has been observed to lighten skin damaged by hyperpigmentation.

Omega-6 fatty acids are antibacterial and they reduce trans epidermal water loss.

Omega 9 fatty acid increases skin permeability, enhances absorption, inhibits inflammation, promotes wound healing, and softens the skin.

Carotenoids protect the cell structures from the negative effects of oxidation.

Coenzyme Q10 has been scientifically shown to reduce the depth of wrinkles and improve skin elasticity. It also helps protect the skin from oxidative stress by boosting cellular energy production and neutralizing free radicals.

No fillers, additives, added fragrances, essential oils, preservatives or alcohol.

Niki Newd® Oatmeal Soap is made from the following fresh ingredients:

• RAPESEED OIL (Finnish, cold pressed, organic, food grade)
• COCONUT OIL (food grade)
• SPRING WATER (from Finnish Lapland)
• OATMEAL (freshly ground, Finnish, gluten free, food grade)
• LINSEED OIL (Finnish, cold pressed, organic, food grade)
• YEAST (artisan, food grade)
• nothing else

We use an artisan soap making process where the naturally occurring, moisturizing glycerineis not removed from the soap. Gourmet superfat added.

Full traceability, all ingredients have been hand-picked from sustainable producers.

In the evening

Moisten hands with water and lather the soap between hands until a smooth foam develops. Massage over face and rinse away with water. Remember to keep your eyes closed.

The soap is perfect for removing make-up. If needed, cleansing can be repeated.

In the morning, cleansing is usually not necessary — unless you live in an area with high levels of air pollution.

Storage tip: Allow the soap to dry thoroughly between uses by storing it in a well-ventilated place — for example, on top of a nail brush or a slatted soap dish.
